Many of you know exactly where you will be tucking into bed each night, but for over eight thousand people across Australia every night, this is a foreign luxury. The current networking scene in Brisbane is filled with all kinds of professional events, many of which are flooded with sponsor messages and arguably a lack of substance. To bring a point of difference to the community, we wanted to create a platform for an up and coming organisation that needs a helping hand to get on their feet.
Just Digital People & Humanised Group are beyond proud to partner with Beddown, a not-for-profit organisation focussed on activating pop-up accommodation hubs for Australia’s most vulnerable people in under-utilised spaces which can be repurposed at night to help provide beds and complementary services to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
This will be your opportunity to hear Norman McGillivray, Founder of Beddown, tell his impressive story about why he has made it his personal mission to ensure as many homeless people as possible, have somewhere to sleep at night! As well as listen Damien Conoulty, General Manager at Secure Parking, talk about why they’ve decided to get involved.
There will be prizes to be won on the evening, with our media partner, Just Media Design, having generously donated a Corporate Video Package valued at $5000 as the major prize!
